Five Star Rentals & Property Management was founded by Jill Zignego in 1995 and incorporated in 2000. Jill has a property managment license with the Montana Board of Realty and Regulation and is a member of the Montana Landlord's Association; the Vacation Rental Manager's Association, the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce, the Big Mountain Commercial Association, the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce, the Flathead Convention & Visitor's Bureau, National Association of Residential Property Managers, Whitefish Convention & Visitors Bureau and Glacier Country. After living in San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, Paris and Thailand, she returned home to Montana and established her business with the mission of making your stay a Five Star experience.

After a 20 year hospitality career with Hyatt Hotels and Ritz-Carlton, LLC, Joyce Walkup joined Five Star Rentals of Montana in 2009 having moved to her favorite state - Montana!  Joyce has a property management license with the Montana Board of Realty and Regulation, and is a Certified Meeting Planner. Bringing new visitors to northwest Montana and finding perfect fits for long term renters are passionate pursuits. Living in Maui, Martha's Vineyard, Prescott, Arizona, San Francisco, Orcas/San Juan Islands, The Jersey Shore and Naples, Florida, have all brought much learning and joy, and has cemented her knowing that Whitefish is the Next Best Place!

We are located at 704 Baker Avenue in our town of Whitefish, Montana.  Easy to find at the corner of Baker and 7th Avenues, our office is located in a cute coffee colored cottage that sits on a small rise.  Come visit when you're in town!  Coming into Whitefish on Highway 93, take a left at our new Safeway (at the light), proceed one block and take a right onto Baker Avenue.  Look for 7th Avenue on your left (take a turn onto 7th Avenue and an immediate turn left into the alley and you'll find convenient parking in back).
