We consider our whole valley home and it's easy and fast to navigate to all locations, so do check out happenings in Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Big Fork and Kalispell. They all offer art galleries, shopping, museums, cultural events, yoga, work out facilities, culinary classes, fine dining, live music, micro-breweries, arts and crafts festivals, music in the parks and antique shopping.
Glacier National Park located on the border of Montana and Canada. The most pristine of all national parks and the one people would most like to revisit. The scenery, the wildlife, the Going to the Sun highway and the geological history make Glacier "the spot" for a fabulous vacation
The Flathead Valley offers more golf holes per capita than most vacation destinations. From Whitefish lake Golf Club's 36 championship holes to East Glacier's classic 1920's nine holer, we can satisfy golfers of every skill level. Nine fabulous courses in a 45 minute radius from Kalispell.
Water, water everywhere! Lakes, rivers, and blue ribbon trout streams. Whitefish lake, Flathead Lake, Hungry Horse Reservoir, Lake MacDonald, the Middle, South and North Fork of the Flathead River are all beautiful options.
The Flathead Valley is an outdoor adventure wonderland. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, rafting, swimming, snow and water skiing, snowboarding, fly fishing, bird watching, hunting boating, sailing canoeing, kayaking and golfing - just to name a few!
From Farmer's Markets, Skijoring Competitions, Thursday Night Art Walks to The Rebecca Farms Event these seasonal and annual events offer marvelous opportunities to celebrate the season or the reason here in Northwest Montana!
Big Mountain is Whitefish's own winter playground! Cross country skiing and snow shoeing locations abound in the Flathead Valley and one of my favorite winter spots is Glacier Park. Great snowmobiling trails from Big Mountain into secluded wilderness areas.
